Prototype Industries
Your One Stop Prototyping Shop

Has work on your product ceased suddenly because you are done designing but now need an actual, physical part? Have you looked into manufacturing and fainted at the cost? Does your product look dead before it is even born?

Look no further, for we have the ability to get quality parts into your hands, for a fraction of the traditional cost.  We have a wide range of prototyping methods that can produce a workable solution that will work like the final product.

Some of our in house resources are:

16 Inch Diameter Cast Aluminum Wheel Being Machined

We specialize in short run production allowing your orders to be manageable and projects small enough to try out an idea.

Our prototyping process is simple and straight forward. Typically, the part design can be a rough approximation of what is required in the final outcome. With our proprietary process, we can develop parts that typically violate production methods, such as mold draft and complicated cores. We can work around these obstacles and get prototypes to test out the concept first.

We offer design services that result in models that are compatible with standard software used in modeling – such as Solid Works, Fusion 360, Creo, Auto Cad etc.  We also have access to electronic design of embedded systems to integrate your design both mechanically and electronically.

Be sure to contact us for more information and we will set up a time to consult with you.

Sample Parts

Urethane Guide Block:

Urethane Cast part that is around 1 pound (500g) of material.  This part is critical wear item for a plumbing snake machine and is designed to handle the rough loads of the snake, while not wearing away.

This part is first cast out of a durable urethane, then secondary machined.

Cast Aluminum Steering Wheel

This steering wheel was designed with strengthening ribs, which were an improvement over the original design on an antique mini car.  The wheel was then produced using our proprietary process to cast these aluminum parts at a fraction of the cost a typical foundry would charge.

Our Mission:

From IDEA to REALITY for less. Make your impression on the market stick: Ready, Fire, Aim!  We aim to have it when you need it.

Ready, Fire, Aim is an odd way of stating the process of prototype development, but the reality is that for any other discipline, whether it is learning to walk, shooting a basketball, or aiming a gun, the process is first shooting at the target, reading a response (oops, I missed!), re-calibrating and shooting again.  This process is performed as few times as possible until the target is actually hit.

The same goes for shooting at a potential market.  The process is fire out an idea, read the response, re-calibrate, and hit the target spot on!

There are many good ideas that never get off the ground because the costs of entry are too high. Prototype Industries is the game changer you need to get that great idea in practice and working. Our specialty is making parts that normally would be plastic injected molded, die cast molded, or just plain unique concepts that need a prototype to test the idea’s viability.

We offer from start to finish the ability to design, develop, and make your product idea a reality with our state of the art design and manufacturing capabilities.

We also have engineering and CAD capabilities that may help you out in your venture down this road of entrepreneurship. Be sure to contact us and we can arrange a sales call to get you started.
